Heroine's Quest: The Herald of Ragnarok v1.2.9
Heroine's Quest: The Herald of Ragnarok has been updated to the latest stable version of Adventure Game Studio, 3.6.0 patch 5. This will improve stability on newer computers and compatibility with newer Windows versions. Saved games from 1.2 and up are fully compatible with 1.2.9.

Changes to gameplay:
- Equip weapon if you pick one up and didn't have one.
- Fixed regular game instead starting the appreciation package beta if installed.
- Some minor fixes in translation files.

Thanks for checking! I had fixed that about an hour later but your download was even faster. The executable should be ./Heroine'sQuest, and the speech.vox file should be in the data/ folder.

Works perfectly!
As a GOG user I also checked and rated of course the GOG version.
While the recent update there (probably at the same time with the update here) looks like it added the voices in the linux version (at least game's size wise) in game there is no way to hear them.
Also the speech slider in the settings panel is "disabled".
Not a big problem for me personally since I prefer zip files instead of installer, but I though you should know.
Thanks. I'm afraid I had made a mistake in configuring the GOG Linux build, hence the lack of voices. It is fixed in build 1.2.9.2, which I've uploaded but needs approval from the GOG team.

The linux version is broken. There is no executable in the zip file and some files (like the speech file) aren't even in the correct folder.
